It has to start with me

And so it begins.  If, as a teacher, I am going to facilitate the growth of my students into responsible digital citizens, I must stand up, face the digital storm that surrounds me, and "boldly go where I have not gone before" (apologies to all Star Trek fans!) - there is so much to explore!  The digital world is so vast and constantly evolving - I feel overwhelmed by it.  I feel like the girl in the video we saw at the 2015 eLead Madison County conference  a few weeks ago: at the top of the ski run, trying to talk myself into pushing off for the very first time...I have to start somewhere, and take one step at a time, so this is STEP ONE:  create a blog.  Thank you, lynda.com, for the video that helped me get started.
